Giuliano Girelli was born in Turin in 1967.
From '91 to '93 he was president of the Centro per le Arti di Torino (Turin Centre for the Arts), db Music.
He has worked in marketing and in industrial communication and since 2002 ha has been developing projects dedicated to culture and social issues. He is the founder of the Documè project, the independent distribution chain for the promotion of the Social-Ethical Documentary. His latest films as a documentarian are Lives re-veiled, Un viaggio nel velo islamico and The Last Farmer
